Little Gamer Coding Classes

Introductory coding class for young children focusing on curiosity and creativity.
Children create different games and, in the process, learn different coding skills in a fun way.
Some of the elements that will be covered includes sprites, variables, loops, if-statements, and events.
Learn to use different inputs like the mouse, the keyboard, camera, microphone and sensors.
Some of the games that you will be making include a maze game, a 2-player game, a continuous runner game, a quiz game, a platform game and much more.
Also learn to work with mathematical and physical concepts for example (x,y)-coordinates and gravity.
Emphasis on fundamental skills:
- Algorithmic thinking, breaking down problems into manageable steps.
- Utilizing visual interfaces for interactive stories, games, and animations.
- Developing logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in sequencing by arranging code blocks accurately.
- Introduction to loops for creating repetitive actions.

Build on the knowledge of the Little Gamers course.
Explore a little more outside the familiar environment of Scratch, while still focusing on the fun of creating games:
- Create app games.
- Create games working with micro:bits.
- Design your own game controller.
- Design games in new environments.
Explore a bit of coding for robotics.
